Slash has released a lyric video for the title track from his forthcoming album, “World On Fire.”
Due September 16, the guitarist’s third solo album is the follow-up to 2012’s “Apocalyptic Love”, which earned Slash his two first-ever No. 1 US rock radio hits: “You’re A Lie” and “Standing In The Sun.”
The new tune is already getting a positive reaction from fans.
“Hey troops, thanks for all the kind words on 'World on Fire' this am,” posted Slash after issuing an initial stream of the song. “Can't wait to break it out on @Aerosmith #LetRockRule tour!”
Slash hits the road this summer for shows across North America with Aerosmith; dates begin July 10 in Wantagh, New York.
