AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson drives antique Bentleys on the latest video from “Cars That Rock”, a new television series he is hosting that began airing in the UK last month.
“It took me till I was about 60 when one finally came up [for sale],” says Johnson. “People tend to hang on to them. You look after it until the next person comes along, and I still love it to this day."
Available on Quest, Freeview Channel 38, “Cars That Rock” follows Johnson as he pursues his passion of cars, looking into the history, meeting the fanatics and of racing in general.
Over six 60-minute episodes, Johnson looks at six of his favorite makes of car – three from the U.K. and three from other parts of Europe.
Johnson recently drove in Mille Miglia 2014, a vintage car race that took place in Italy between May 15th - 18th.
Johnson drove a vintage Jaguar C-type race car for the four-day, 1000-mile (1,609-kilometre) challenge from the Italian capital of Rome to the northern city of Brescia and back again.
Johnson and the members of AC/DC are currently in a Vancouver recording studio working on a new album. Guitarist Malcolm Young is sitting out the sessions due to health issues, and there’s speculation that his nephew, Stevie, is helping out during his absence.
