Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland performed three new songs during an April 30 show in Dallas, Texas and fan-filmed video has surfaced.
The rocker introduced “The Way She Moves”, “Beach Pop Rock” and “Circles” as part of his set at Trees in Dallas, one of a series of spring concerts by the singer.
Weiland was fired by Stone Temple Pilots in February of 2013, leading to a series of public statements and lawsuits by both parties.
The singer’s former group have teamed up with Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, while Weiland is working on a new solo project with his band, The Wildabouts – it’s tentatively expected to be released by the end of the year.
