The Black Keys have announced a lengthy fall North American tour in support of their new album, “Turn Blue.”
The band will hit the road for dates starting September 5 in Columbus, Ohio, with shows scheduled to wrap in Kansas City on December 21.
Openers for the trek include Cage the Elephant (Sep 5 – 27), Jake Bugg (Oct 24 – Nov 16) and St. Vincent (Dec 4 – 21).
Pre-sale tickets begin Tuesday, May 13th at 10am local, with the general on sale starting Friday, May 16th at 10am local.
Due May 13, “Turn Blue” was recorded last summer and co-produced by Danger Mouse and the band.
Following a few promotional appearances to launch the album – including Saturday Night Live on May 10 – The Black Keys will kick off a European tour at the Southside Festival in Neuhausen, Germany on June 20.
