Journey guitarist Neal Schon has released his new solo album, “So U.”
Due May 19 (May 20 in North America), the project sees Schon team up with Black Star Riders’ bassist Marco Mendoza and Journey drummer Deen Castronovo.
Many of the tracks were co-written by Night Ranger/Damn Yankees songwriter, singer and bassist Jack Blades.
Schon’s last solo effort was 2012’s “The Calling” and Journey’s latest is 2011’s “Eclipse.”
Last week, Journey kicked off a summer North American tour with the Steve Miller Band.
