Foo Fighters offshoot Birds Of Satan perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live

The Birds Of Satan, a new band featuring Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, performed on ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday.

Last month, the group released their self-titled debut album; the band played the project’s lead single, “Thanks For The Line”, on the broadcast and recorded “Pieces Of The Puzzle” as a web-exclusive track.

Joining Hawkins in The Birds Of Satan are guitarist Mick Murphy and bassist Wiley Hodgden, who regularly perform together as 70s cover band Chevy Metal.

Produced by John Lousteau, the album includes guest appearances by fellow Foos Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, as well as Drew Hester, Rami Jaffee, Butch Vig, and current Yes frontman Jon Davison.
