Boston guitarist Tom Scholz is featured on the latest two-part episode of “The Secret Life Of Scientists And Engineers”, an Emmy-nominated web-series from the acclaimed PBS series, Nova.
Secret Life profiles today’s leading scientists - and shows what they’re like when the lab coats come off – like a biochemist who competed for Miss America and a microbiologist who’s a professional wrestler.
Prior to his musical career, Scholz received both a bachelor's degree (1969) and a master's degree (1970) in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked for Polaroid Corporation as a senior product design engineer.
Earlier this year, Boston released a new album, “Life Love & Hope”, their first release since 2002’s “Corporate America.”
Scholz and Boston will kick off a North American tour in support of the project on June 5 in Hollywood, Florida.
