Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has unveiled the cover to his forthcoming memoir, “Rocks: My Life In And Out Of Aerosmith."
Due October 7, Perry worked on the book with author David Ritz, who has written books with B.B. King, Jerry Wexler and Bettye LaVette.
Perry’s memoir follows similar works by bandmates Steven Tyler (2011’s “Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?”) and drummer Joey Kramer (2009's “Hit Hard: A Story Of Hitting Rock Bottom At The Top”).
In 2012, bassist Tom Hamilton revealed plans that his working on his autobiography, as well.
This past weekend, Perry and Aerosmith kicked off their Let Rock Rule European tour at Stadium Lokomotiv in Sofia, Bulgaria – check out fan-filmed video from the event here.
