California Breed – the new band formed by Jason Bonham and Glenn Hughes from the ashes of supergroup Black Country Communion – have launched a new web series giving fans a behind the scenes look at the making of their self-titled debut album, due for release on May 20.
Joined by guitarist Andrew Watt, the first episode tells the story of how the group came together.
Produced by Dave Cobb (Jamey Johnson, Rival Sons, Shooter Jennings), “California Breed” was recorded at Cobb's Nashville studio and features equal co-writing credits among the three-man lineup.
Last month, California Breed released the video for the album’s lead single, “Sweet Tea”, and followed that up with a lyric video for “Midnight Oil” (see it here).
