Part 8 of the “Real To Reel” series brings fans into the studio with Slash for the recording of his new album, due out later this year.
The latest episode sees the guitarist, singer Myles Kennedy and producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette talking about the sessions for the follow-up to 2012’s “Apocalyptic Love.”
Slash and the band will be on the road this summer across North America with Aerosmith for the Let Rock Rule tour, with dates starting July 10 in Wantagh, New York.
In the past week, Slash joined Aerosmith on stage at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood to promote the summer tour announcement (see video here), and he appeared twice with Motorhead as that band returns to live action following some downtime as Lemmy addressed health issues relating to his diabetes.
Watch Slash with Motorhead at Club Nokia in Los Angeles here; he also played with them at Coachella on Sunday and will join them again for their second appearance at the festival this coming weekend.
