Ace Frehley confirms Space Invader European release date
Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has confirmed that his forthcoming solo album, “Space Invader”, will be released in Europe on July 7.
The project will be available in North America on June 24 as previously announced.
Frehley’s first new solo project 2009’s “Anomaly” will include at least nine new original songs as well as a cover of “The Joker” by The Steve Miller Band.
“Life on Earth has been very good to me, and the body of work I’ve created over the years has withstood the test of time,” says Ace. “Today I see no obstacles before me and my creativity has never been more fine tuned. Growing up in an Alien world has enhanced my senses and allowed me to succeed where others would have failed. The best is yet to come!”
On April 10, Frehley and the original lineup of KISS were inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in New York, alongside Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and The E Street Band.
Frehley recently celebrated his 63rd birthday.
