Sammy Hagar and Metallica’s James Hetfield will headline the 1st annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure Benefit Concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15.
Joining the pair to perform acoustic sets will be Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Scott Mathews, Pat Monahan of Train, Joe Satriani, Nancy Wilson of Heart, and more.
Funds raised through ticket sales will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Program at the University Of California, San Francisco UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Last week, Hagar released the video for his cover of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus”, a track from his current album “Sammy Hagar & Friends.”
Directed by Arthur Rosato, the clip and tune features Hagar, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, and Chickenfoot bandmates Michael Anthony and Chad Smith.
Hetfield and Metallica just launched a two-week South American tour.
