The Rolling Stones will play Rome’s Circus Maximus on June 22 as part of their 14 On Fire tour.
The show at the ancient Roman chariot racing stadium marks the third European date of the summer for the band, following previously announced appearances at the Pinkpop Festival in Holland on June 7 and the TW Classic Festival in Belgium on June 28.
The Stones will be playing more major shows in Europe in May and June, and these will be announced soon.
The group played Singapore on Saturday (see video here), marking the final stop on the Asian leg of the tour; the Stones will kick off a series of Australian dates in Perth on Wednesday.
