Rolling Stones: L’Wren Scott leaves $9 million estate to Mick Jagger
Fashion designer L’Wren Scott left her estate – valued at $9 million – to her longtime partner, Mick Jagger, according to the New York Post.
Although reports indicated Scott’s design business, LS Fashion Ltd., was $5.9 million in the red, the paper says her will bequeathed her $8 million condo, which she owned under a corporate name, to the Rolling Stones frontman…as well as $1 million in other valuables.
“I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles and other tangible articles of a personal nature … to Michael Philip Jagger,” Scott’s will says, according to court papers reviewed by The Post Wednesday.
Scott was found dead by suicide in her New York apartment on March 17.
Jagger was joined by family and friends as Scott was laid to rest at a private funeral service in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Stones postponed seven shows in Australia and New Zealand on their 14 On Fire tour following the news; reports suggest the concerts will likely be rescheduled for October andNovember.
