Rolling Stones cancel concert following death of L’Wren Scott
The Rolling Stones have canceled the first concert of their Australian tour following the sudden death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott on Monday.
The band issued a statement advising ticket holders for Wednesday’s show at the Perth Arena to hold on to their tickets until a further update is available.
Scott was found dead of an apparent suicide in her New York apartment early Monday morning.
New York police sources say Wren’s body was discovered hanging from a scarf tied to a doorknob in her apartment on 11th Avenue at around 10 a.m. Monday.

The Stones recently arrived in Perth to start the next leg of their 14 On Fire world tour. The band’s next scheduled show is Saturday at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
The former model met Jagger in 2001.
Scott was born Luann Bambrough on April 28, 1964. She was raised by her Mormon adoptive parents, Ivan and Lula Bambrough, in Roy, Utah.
