Deep Purple have announced dates for a summer tour of North America.
Shows in support of their latest album, “NOW What?!”, begin on August 5 in Long Beach, California and run to August 31 in Hollywood, Florida.
The group just wrapped up a month-long series of European dates; they return to live action in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg on April 1.
Two Deep Purple projects will be released in the coming months.
“Live In California 74” will be available on CD and Digital Audio on April 1. Previously issued on DVD in 2006, the project features the band’s appearance at California Jam, a festival co-headlined by Deep Purple and Emerson, Lake & Palmer that was held at the Ontario Motor Speedway in Ontario, California on April 6, 1974.
