A new video performance of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” by the Croatian duo 2 Cellos has gone viral, racking up almost 6 million views in its first week.
2 Cellos – the team of Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser – first caught the attention of music fans around the globe in 2011 with their dueling cellos version of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal," which went on to receive more than 5 million hits on YouTube in less than 3 months.
The duo’s profile then caught the attention of Elton John, who invited them to join him on tour.
2 Cellos have released two albums so far, including their self-titled debut in 2011 and 2013’s “in2ition.”
Both projects feature covers of well known rock and pop songs by artist like Guns N’ Roses, U2, Nirvana, The Police and more.
