hennemusic is helping rock fans get warmed up for Super Bowl 48 in New Jersey this weekend with a look back at some of the rockers who have played at America’s most-watched annual sporting event.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers performed the halftime show for Super Bowl 42 at University Of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on February 3, 2008.
Petty rocked a hits set that featured “American Girl”, “I Won't Back Down”, “Free Fallin'” and “Runnin' Down a Dream.”
The New York Giants defeated the favored New England Patriots 17-14.
