The final interview given by Jimi Hendrix before his death in the fall of 1970 has been animated by PBS web series Blank On Blank.
Recorded September 11, 1970, Hendrix’s session with NME journalist Keith Allston took place a week before the guitarist died in London.
Hendrix speaks candidly on a variety of topics, including future collaborations, politics, and his contributions to music.
The theme of Blank On Blank’s series is “famous names, lost interviews.”
