Bruce Springsteen covered the 1982 INXS classic, “Don’t Change”, during his show Wednesday night at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia, and video of the performance has surfaced.
The INXS track was the first song of the encores at a show that saw Springsteen and the E Street Band perform his 1978 album, “Darkness On The Edge Of Town”, in its entirety.
“Don’t Change” appeared on INXS’ third album, “Shabooh Shoobah.”
INXS formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales. The band went on to sell more than 40 million albums worldwide before singer Michael Hutchence’s death in a Sydney hotel room in November 1997.
INXS worked with a few singers before performing their final concert on November 11, 2012 at the Perth Arena.
Springsteen is currently playing dates across Australia in support of his new album, “High Hopes.”
