The Scorpions will perform at the 2014 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on April. 5.
Currently promoting the recent release of “MTV Unplugged - Scorpions Live In Athens”, the German rockers concert is one of several events that will mark Bahrain International Circuit's (BIC) 10th anniversary.
"It is an absolute delight to have rock legends like the Scorpions coming to Bahrain and be a part of our 10th anniversary Grand Prix celebrations," said BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa. "We are truly privileged to have them performing live at BIC on such a momentous occasion, and are confident that both sporting and music fans alike will be treated to yet another unforgettable entertainment spectacle during the race weekend."
“MTV Unplugged - Scorpions Live In Athens” was compiled from three concerts in Athens, Greece at the city’s Lycabettus Theatre last fall.
The Scorpions begin their 2014 live dates on March 7 in Madrid, Spain.
