Kurt Cobain’s widow Courtney Love will be joining the members of Nirvana at their April 10 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, and in a new interview with Access Hollywood, she says the evening will be awkward based on her long-standing feud with Dave Grohl over the rights to, and use of, the band’s music.
"We're going to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I think we're all sitting at the same table," said Love, agreeing that it will be awkward but she will say hello to Grohl. “Of course, it’s not my hashtag Yoko.”
Love’s interview was to promote the launch of her new reality show/YouTube channel this Friday.
Nirvana are being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame along with KISS, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt.
The induction ceremony will be held at New York’s Barclays Center, marking the first time the general public will be able to attend the ceremony in NYC. HBO will record the event for broadcast in May.
