Neil Young has announced a pair of solo, acoustic shows at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles next month.
Tickets for the March 29th and 30th concerts go on sale Monday, February 24th at 10:00 a.m. PST.
The dates follow Young’s 4-night stand at New York’s Carnegie Hall last month, as well as a series of Canadian benefit concerts for the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN) Legal Defense Fund, to aid them in their battle against oil companies and the government to preserve their land – read about the shows here.
This spring, Young will release a new album, “A Letter Home.”
The project will be issued by Jack White’s label, Third Man Records, which describes it as “an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever.”
Last month, Young described “A Letter Home” as “one of the lowest-tech experiences I've ever had”, and that it would be available in March.
