Black Star Riders have announced a new pair of US dates for this spring.
The Thin Lizzy-offshoot will play Concert Pub North in Houston, Texas on May 3, and a co-headlining show with Skid Row at The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona on May 9.
The new dates follow the band’s recently-announced first-ever US live shows – a pair of co-headlining shows with Skid Row in Southern California in mid-May, including the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills on May 15 and the Coachouse in San Juan Capistrano on May 16.
More US dates will be announced soon.
Black Star Riders are touring in support of their debut album, “All Hell Breaks Loose.”
The band recently announced that Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott will produce their sophomore album when they hit the studio in Dublin, Ireland in October.
“Joe Elliott's passion, enthusiasm for music, as a fan, artist and friend is unquestionable and Ronan McHugh is a phenomenal engineer,” says Warwick. “Personally having worked with these guys before, it was a no brainer when they said they would like to produce the new BSR album. We are confident that this will be a huge leap forward in the evolution of BSR.”
“Having worked with [guitarist] Scott [Gorham] on the Thin Lizzy remixes a few years ago & having produced Ricky’s 1st 2 solo albums, I’m looking forward to taking our musical journey together even further,” adds Elliott. “We’re aiming to make a serious leap forward with the next album & I’m proud to be able to contribute to the next chapter in the BSR story.
The new, as yet untitled, album will be released in the spring of 2015.
