U2 have announced a new single entitled “Invisible.”
The song will be released as part of an initiative with (RED) to support the fight against AIDS.
“Everybody's really excited about the song and the band have been shooting the video in LA.,” posted the group.
Rumours are that the song may appear in a Super Bowl commercial that will reveal news about the band’s new album, which is expected later this spring.
Danger Mouse has been producing the project, which was recorded primarily at New York's Electric Lady Studios.
Last weekend, U2 picked up a Best Original Song Golden Globe Award for their Nelson Mandela tribute, “Ordinary Love”, as featured in the new film, “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”
