Finalists for the 4th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: winners are determined by the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2013 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Friday, January 17.
Rock News Story Of The Year No. 9: VAN HALEN
Van Halen brought their “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour to Japan in June for four shows.
The dates were rescheduled from the fall of 2012 when the group went on hiatus while Eddie recovered from surgery for a severe case of Diverticulitus.
Van Halen played before 55,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome, and video of the full concert surfaced online.
