Stevie Nicks is sharing an update on the health status of Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie, who has been undergoing treatment since being diagnosed with cancer a few months ago.
“He's good,” Nicks tells US Weekly. “He's got his treatment, and now he did a show on the 30th and 31st, another tomorrow night, then he has surgery next week. He's good. He's gonna be fine. I'm not the least bit worried about John. He's very, very strong and a man of very few words. He's not a person to mess with.”
In October, the band cancelled a 14-date tour of Australia and New Zealand following news of McVie’s diagnosis.
The bassist returned to stage last week for two shows at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Earlier this year, Fleetwood Mac released the 4-song “Extended Play”, their first new music in 10 years.
