Def Leppard regrouping to work on new music

Def Leppard are regrouping this weekend to start work on some new music, according to guitarist Vivian Campbell.

“Packing my bag for Dublin,” Campbell posted Thursday. “Leaving tomorrow to go hang out with the Lepps. We're gonna eat, drink, burp, fart and tell dirty jokes - like men folk do when they get together. There was something else we were planning to do, too.... What was it again? Oh yeah; we're gonna write and record some new music. (Finally, I hear you think)”

The band’s last studio album was 2008’s “Songs From The Sparkle Lounge.”

On February 10 (Feb. 11 in North America), Def Leppard will release a Deluxe Edition of their 1996 album, “Slang.”

The reissue will be available in 3 formats: a CD Deluxe Edition and Digital Edition containing the original 11 album tracks re-mastered and original rare bonus tracks made up of demos, alternate versions and mixes with a series of new songs recorded during the time the band was creating Slang. Most of these additional bonus tracks have never been released.
