David Bowie has picked up a pair of nominations for the 2014 BRIT Awards.
Bowie is a finalist for British Male Solo Artist and Album Of The Year for “The Next Day.”
Bowie previously won the Best Male category in 1984 and also went on to receive an “outstanding contribution” award in 1996.
The BRIT Awards 2014 take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 19 and will be broadcast live on ITV at 8pm GMT.
“The Next Day”, Bowie’s first project in a decade, delivered the singer his first UK number 1 album in 20 years.
The project went on to place No. 23 on the overall Official Biggest Selling UK Albums Of 2013.
