Black Sabbath will be on hand at the 56th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this Sunday.
In addition to the three nominations for their latest project, “13”, the band have been announced as presenters at the event.
Sabbath are up for Best Rock Album, and Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance for “God Is Dead?”
The Grammys happen January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
Last week, Black Sabbath’s 1970s catalog became available on iTunes for the first time.
The band’s classic era includes 8 studio albums – from 1970s’ self-titled debut to 1978’s “Never Say Die!”, individually and as a bundle (“The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978”), the 1976 compilation “We Sold Our Soul For Rock ‘N’ Roll”, and 2006’s “Greatest Hits 1970-1978”, which was released in connection with their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
