In the tradition of the weekly hennemusic Hot 10 chart, hennemusic will count down the Top 10 Rock News Artists Of The Year and the Top 10 Rock News Stories of The Year starting Wednesday, January 8.
Finalists for the 4th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: winners are determined by the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
“The hennemusic Rock News Awards celebrate the voice of the fans,” says Bruce Henne. “Music fans actively seek out news on their favorite artists and that’s what hennemusic delivers daily.”
Winners will be revealed on Friday, January 17 at hennemusic.com.
Previous hennemusic Rock News Awards winners include Guns N’ Roses (2010) and Jimmy Page (2010), while Van Halen swept the honors in both 2011 (here) and 2012 (here).
