Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt will perform the band's 1991 hit, “More Than Words”, on NBC's reality singing competition The Voice on Tuesday, December 3.
Bettencourt will be joined by contestants Cole Vosbury, Will Champlin and James Wolpert for the performance on the series’ weekly results show, which airs Tuesday at 9:00 PM EST.
“More Than Words” appeared on the Boston band’s sophomore effort, “Extreme II: Pornograffitti.”
The song reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, helping push the album to double-platinum status.
Bettencourt became Rihanna’s touring lead guitarist in 2010.
