Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen will unveil his second fine art collection on September 19.
Rick debuted his first set, "Electric Hand: Rhythm + Change", in Las Vegas during the band’s spring residency.
Allen is translating rhythm into a visual art medium through an extensive process involving drumbeat, light, photography, and graphic design. The result is a collection of abstract imagery built directly from Rick's rhythmic prowess. And as one of the pioneers in this new medium, Allen is holding true to a lifetime of breaking barriers and new ground.
One of the most acclaimed drummers in the history of rhythm, Rick's powerful and unique rhythmic voice has profoundly influenced the signature sound of Def Leppard.
