Two men have been arrested over damage done early Friday to a statue of the late Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott.
Rte.ie reports the men, in their 20s, were arrested and have been released without charge.
The pair turned themselves in to police; a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The incident happened at around 4.15am on Friday on Harry Street, which is off Grafton Street in Dublin.
The statue’s bronze coat suffered a tear in the fall and it has since been removed for repairs.
