Fresh off their Australian tour with Guns N’ Roses, ZZ Top have announced spring concert dates across North America.
The shows are in support of the band’s latest album, “La Futura.”
The month-long series kicks off May 2 in Newkirk, OK and run to May 25 in Biloxi, MS
Following the US dates, ZZ Top head to Europe for 6 weeks of shows, from June 2 to July 14, wrapping up at the Bospop Festival in Weert, Netherlands.
The Texas legends return to the US in August, including a show at the Buffalo Chip Campground at Sturgis, SD.
This weekend, guitarist Billy Gibbons will reunite with his former band, Moving Sidewalks, for the first time in 44 years.
The group will reconnect to play B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Manhattan on March 30.
The 60s band recently released its own compilation, “Moving Sidewalks – The Complete Collection”, which brings together its only album, “Flash” (1969), a handful of singles (including a bruising cover of the Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand”) and several outtakes.
