It’s been three years since rock was part of the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Who took center stage at Super Bowl 44 in 2010, where they rocked a medley of their classic tracks.
The game, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, featured the New Orleans Saints versus the Indianapolis Colts; the Saints won 31-17.
The live broadcast was watched by an average US audience of 106.5 million viewers, making it the third most-watched Super Bowl. The National Anthem was sung by Carrie Underwood.
