Buckcherry’s new album, “Confessions,” has debuted at #20 on the US Billboard 200 Albums chart with 18,548 copies sold in its first week of release.
The project also enters both the Billboard Hard Music Album chart and Metal Album chart at #1, and was the best-selling new album of the week.
“Confessions” also maintained the #1 position on the iTunes Rock Album chart throughout release week.
Buckcherry’s sixth album is inspired by the seven deadly sins, and is part of a larger vision that includes a film written by singer Josh Todd, who based the album's lyrics on his childhood and transformation into adulthood.
"Confessions" was introduced by the lead single, “Gluttony.”
