Black Star Riders – featuring former members of Thin Lizzy – have unveiled the new band’s official logo.
The emblem was created by Paul Tippett at Vitamin P Design in the UK.
Black Star Riders are Thin Lizzy alumni Ricky Warwick (vocals), Scott Gorham (guitar), Damon Johnson (guitar), Marco Mendoza (bass) with new addition Jimmy DeGrasso on drums (Alice Cooper, Megadeth, David Lee Roth, Suicidal Tendencies).
The band completed recording their debut album last week, after less than a month in the studio with producer Kevin Shirley.
Black Star Riders have said the album will feature material the band wrote whilst touring the past few years as Thin Lizzy, and the group says the sound retains that classic feel but is very much its own as well.
