Soundgarden were among the list of artists that performed at President Obama’s Inauguration Ball on Monday.
The Seattle rockers were joined at the Washington Convention Center by Alicia Keys, Black Violin, Brad Paisley, Far East Movement, FUN., members of the Glee cast, John Legend, Katy Perry, Maná, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and Usher; the acts performed on multiple stages.
Soundgarden are sharing a photo from their Monday evening performance.
Chris Cornell did double-duty, as he also performed at the Commander-in-Chief’s Ball, where President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden honored the brave men and women of our country’s armed forces and their families. Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley,Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson and Marc Anthony also played.
In support of their new album, “King Animal,” Soundgarden kicked off their North American tour in New York last week.
