Finalists for the 3rd annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: winners are determined by the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.

The 2012 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Friday, December 21 at hennemusic.com.


Rock News Story of The Year - #3 – GUNS N' ROSES

One of the most-watched music events of 2012 was the April ceremony for Guns N’ Roses as they were to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Just weeks before the big night, rumors and speculation continued about what might happen and whether the original GNR lineup would even show, let alone perform together.

While on the promo trail talking up his then-forthcoming solo effort, “Apocalyptic Love,” former GNR guitarist Slash was getting tired of the questions and revealed his thoughts on the feud with Axl Rose.
