Black Sabbath sell out first New Zealand show in 40 years

Black Sabbath have sold out their first New Zealand concert date in nearly 40 years.

TVNZ reports ticket sold out in minutes Friday morning for Sabbath’s April 20 show at Auckland’s Vector Arena.

Demand was so big that a second concert has been added for April 22.

The New Zealand dates will precede Sabbath’s Australian tour, which starts April 25 in Brisbane and wraps up May 4 in Perth.

Sabbath’s new album with Ozzy Osbourne – their first since 1978’s “Never Say Die” - is due in April.
