Black Sabbath are in the studio working on a new album, which is due in April.
In the past few weeks, the band has kept fans updated on the project with news that Ozzy Osbourne was recording vocals and Geezer Butler was laying down some bass parts.
On Monday, Sabbath delivered news that Tony Iommi is tracking more guitars on the new album. The update included a black and white photo of Iommi’s guitars in the studio (above).
Working with producer Rick Rubin, the project is the mostly-reunited band’s first studio effort since 1978’s “Never Say Die.”
Sabbath are working at Shangri La Studios in Malibu, California.
