“Fanatic” is the first album of new music from Ann and Nancy Wilson since 2010's “Red Velvet Car.” The new project was recorded in hotel rooms and studios up and down the West Coast, with Grammy-winning producer Ben Mink back at the helm with the Wilson sisters drawing from their own lives and personal experiences as inspiration for their music.
Heart were recently announced as nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame’s Class of 2013; the group was also nominated last year. A group of 600 artists, music historians and members of the industry will choose 2013's inductees; the results will be announced in mid-December.
Last month, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and they also published their autobiography, “Kicking And Dreaming: A Story Of Heart, Soul And Rock & Roll.”
