Black Sabbath: Australian tour announcement due on Halloween?

Faster Louder reports a Black Sabbath Australian tour announcement on Halloween seems imminent as a mysterious video posted by concert promoters Live Nation Wednesday morning (Aussie time) suggests that the reunited band could be announcing a tour.

The seven second video (which has since been pulled) promises that “darkness descends” tonight at 10pm (Aussie time) before directing fans towards a collection of Sabbath clips.

Ozzy Osbourne’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne has already confirmed the group will tour the country in 2013.

"[Black Sabbath] is in the studio right now with Rick Rubin recording,” Sharon told Sydney’s Triple a few weeks ago. “And they are going to be touring here in the Spring of next year. Definitely.”

Sharon didn’t elaborate further to clarify if she meant US Spring, which starts in March, or Australian Spring, which begins in September.

After playing three concerts this year, Ozzy and original Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler continue working on a new album while original drummer Bill Ward continues to sit out the planned reunion over a contract dispute.
