Tom Waits posted a cryptic message to fans on Tuesday.
Along with the phrase, “Permission To Come Aboard?”, Waits shared a photo of himself in a bit of a pirate outfit, wearing an eye patch, smoking a cigar, with a sword drawn and at the ready.
The caption on the photo reads “Coming August 7.”
No further details were provided, so it’s anyone’s guess what the legendary performer has up his sleeve.
Tom released his latest album, “Bad As Me,” last fall but has not toured in support of the project.
In the past month, Waits made rare television appearances on both David Letterman (see it here) and Jimmy Fallon’s programs (watch it here) while playing live on each show.
With that in mind, could a tour announcement be on the way?
