A new Green Day-themed version of the popular video game Angry Birds is on its way.
The Angry Birds Friends game features 10 never-before-seen levels, as well as all new Green Day pig characters.
Fans can also unlock the new song, “Troublemaker," off the band’s upcoming album “¡Uno!,” which is due next month.
"We're all fans of Angry Birds," said Billie Joe Armstrong. "It's such an addictive game that when we first started playing it we couldn't stop."
"This unique collaboration is the first of its kind for Rovio and offers an innovative blend of music, video, and gameplay," says game-maker Rovio. "Updates for the Green Day episode, coming later this fall, will provide even more exclusive content and levels."
Fans can play the game via Facebook here.
Green Day will release their trilogy of new albums – “¡Uno!,” “¡Dos!,” and “¡Tré!” - on September 25th, 2012; November 13th, 2012, and January 15th, 2013, respectively.
