Lynyrd Skynyrd return on August 21 with “Last Of A Dyin’ Breed,” the band’s first studio album in three years.
The new project reunites Skynyrd with producer Bob Marlette, and sees the debut of new bassist Johnny Colt (Black Crowes, Brand New Immortals, Train, Rock Star Supernova).
The Southern rock legends are giving fans a peek in the studio as they worked on the album at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
“We come to Nashville a lot because it’s like a second home to us,” explains guitarist Gary Rossington. “We’ve been coming here some much, and we have so many friends here.”
