Van Halen’s “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour is in the middle of a swing through the band’s home state of California.
Tuesday night, Van Halen rocked the HP Pavilion in San Jose, and the band dug out a rare track from 1979’s “Van Halen II” album.
“Bottoms Up!” made its first appearance of the new tour and, in fact, it was played for the first time onstage since 1983.
The classic deep cut replaced “The Trouble With Never,” from the new album, in Tuesday’s setlist.
Van Halen roll into the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, and they play Anaheim and San Diego next week.
The first leg of the tour wraps up June 26 in New Orleans.
