Queen were on hand Thursday for the second of back-to-back nights on American Idol.
The group’s official tribute band, The Queen Extravaganza, opened the show with a performance of “Somebody To Love,” and they were joined by guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor for the last half of the song.

Roger is the producer and musical director for the tour, while word is that Brian will be involved at some point.
The weekly results episode saw the elimination of another Idol hopeful; the field is now down to the Top 5 as the series heads towards its finale in a few weeks.
