Jane’s Addiction must have felt right at home in Sao Paulo on the weekend as the band performed at Lollapalooza Brazil.
In 1991, Jane’s singer Perry Farrell conceived and created the Lollapalooza brand, with the intent of using the vehicle as a farewell tour for the band. The event has since expanded internationally in recent years, beyond its North American roots, to stages in South America.
Jane’s played the early evening slot on Sunday, before headliners Arctic Monkeys closed out the festival.
Now, video of the band’s full set has surfaced.
Next month, Jane’s launch the second leg of their “Theatre Of The Escapists” tour in support of the band’s latest effort, “The Great Escape Artist.”
The shows, which bring the band to intimate venues, most of which are classic theatres, relaunch May 7 in San Antonio.
